Any weekend updates? Are they north or south? I'm heading down and should be out the next couple of days. Hopefully, we don't get blown off the water eek I'll make sure to post some reports throughout my trip.

The fish are there. Fished around Hog Saturday before the winds dang near blew our Kayaks back to Sinton. We were targeting Reds but trout were plentiful. Mostly smaller in the 14-18" range. Couple buried the hook so I kept for Supper. Caught a couple of skipjacks so cut them up and that was the key to the Reds.Kept three 21-24" and released two @ 27and 29"

Good reports coming from both north and south areas.

Plenty of the Big 3 being caught, winds have been tough at times but the fish are there.

Well, we definitely almost got blown off the water! Because of the morning storms, didn't really get going until 10:30/11. Started off south in Super Flats and caught a flounder and couple of undersized reds but nothing else so we started trying to move up St. Joe's and never really found a good bite. Most fish were undersized and pretty sporadic. Finally, ended up at Hog, thanks to Coastal, to get out of the wind and caught a couple undersized reds and my friends 1st trout that flopped out of my hand as I was trying to measure it hammer

Hoping to go north tomorrow and not be so killed by the winds and trying out Cedar Bayou. How are people fishing it these days? Thanks again for the help so far. Really wanna show some friends what fishing the Texas coast is all about!

Well, it seemed to be a pretty promising day to start things as we headed north for the reefs. We pulled up to our first reef that had plenty of bait working and decent tidal movement thinking it would be no time at all before we got on to some fish. After an hour of not even getting a bite, we decided to head over toward Mesquite Bay. We hit up another couple good looking reefs only coming away with a sheepshead. At this point, I decided to pull out my "ace in the hole" for what had now turned into some pretty serious winds. We headed toward Cedar Bayou only to quickly realize that with the combination of the incoming tide and the dirty surf, we didn't stand a chance. We tried one more spot and at that point decided to head back down south to Aransas. Still tough sledding, but my friend finally got a good red. Still, pretty frustrating after being set up on several good spots. Hopefully, we can end things wth a bang tomorrow with the slightly lest wind.
