Depends on what you are fishing for and the time of year. Generally speaking: excellent sandbass and hybrids, excellent catfish, very good crappie, fair-to-good largemouth bass. It gets rough when the wind blows (which seems like very often lately).

If your fishing for bass it's a good lake if you like to fish docks. The vast majority of the lake is docks. Cedar is one of my favorite to fish but I like flipping docks. You can go to north side of lake to get away from docks if you don't like docks but I have had very good luck up north after the spawn.
