A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Erik Guajardo of San Antonio on his pending State private water body Rio Grande Cichlid Record. The fish was 11.50" in length with a fat girth of 12.75". The official weight of the fish was 1.68 Lbs. This beats the old State private water body record Rio which was 1.52 Lbs set back on May 30,2012. Erick was fishing with his friend who happens to own the pond the fish was caught in. Paper work was completed and will be sent to Parks&Wildlife. Congratulations again Erick on catching a Super Fish!

The fish was caught using the bait of CHAMPIONS! Worms!
