What a great time we had at Beavers Bend and Hochatown, Oklahoma! Beautiful scenery, gorgeous weather, delicious food... and, yep, lots of fish... If you'd like to view a short slideshow of the scenery and eats, there will be a link at the end of this post... Unfortunately these lil' buggers kept pestering us...  ...but there were plenty of these, too!          Caught some pretty nice ones...  ...and then something slammed my line and started rippin' line like a freight train! Thought I had a 5 lb largemouth, but to my surprise...  Beastie must have been 2.5" thick! A five pound bass would have meant nothing to me, but I was one happy guy landing this pig on an ultralight! I highly recommend taking a day or two and fishing Broken Bow for sunnies, but if you're into smallies, crappie or walleye it's terrific! Some solid cats and big largemouth, as well. Maybe the best part is the scenery and food, however. Abendigo's and Grateful Head are wonderful! This is a quick slideshow of that part of the trip...
