There a few hand pour Swimbaits being offered to those anglers fishing FLW Tour Pickwick lake but one stands out as the BEST! Its made in Texas by Master Jeff Phil at Fringe Tackle! Some of the other companies copying Jeff's baits aren't fairing so well as their best finish is 17th. Fringe Tackle is holding #1 and probably #2. Buddy Gross is leading by almost 15 lbs and Michael Neal is holding his own. Neal is Buddy's roommate so you have to awesome he has some of those baits. Wouldn't those baits work at Falcon and Amistad as well as they do at Fork and the TVA chain! The bad news is some rumors floating around is Jeff may retire. Hope not as we wont have the BEST in the country coming from Texas!

I just visited the master Jeff Phil at Fringe tackle Saturday at his shop. He is so in tune with the color and how the light penetrates. Its pretty amazing watching him it is truly an art.
