How do Mexican migrant workers, legal ones, come to America to work? They have work visa for seasonal workers.

[quote=RedRanger] You are close, a K1 is a hybrid visa as in both immigrant/non immigrant. You'd better call the State Dept and straighten them out, they say it's a non immigrant visa You have a one time entry visa good for 90 days to get married. After you marry then you adjust status and you get a 2 yr conditional greencard (Yes, visa classification CR-1 (conditional immediate relative spouse of USC), after 2 years you can apply for a GC and your classification after that is IR-1 (immediate relative spouse of USC). There is no adjusting to CR1 or IR1 Wrong.
You'd probably better look up what a B1 can do before you say they can't do something. Did you ever actually work in immigration? I have done several visas We are almost on the same page, I said there is no adjusting from a K1 to CRI or IR1 visa. You just file AOS for K1 to get 2 year conditional GC and you can file for free for EAD (Employment Authorization Document) & A/P (Advance Parole) so you can travel outside USA while you wait for your GC.

I don't see the difference? You know speeding is illegal and can kill people, which is much much worse, yet I can promise everyone in this thread has done it. And I'd bet my entire savings no one has turned themselves in for it. You know that breaking rules in fishing and golf are wrong and yet some do it anyway. There have been many incidents of self reporting in golf and fishing tournaments.

It appears if Tak cheated at his first event, and he still won money. how so? http://www.flwfishing.com/tips/2001-07-01-that-s-omoriI can't think a visa (that he would qualify for) that would allow him to enter USA and work/compete for money. I would assume he entered USA on a Tourist/Business Visa. I do not know the answer the following question, but how to foreign golfers come to the U.S. and compete for money? I would think this is similar scenario. Wouldn't think one has to be a citizen to compete. I would think they use a P1-A Visa https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-sta...ognized-athlete

Since this is way off track from the original post, I'll just let this drop. I can see my knowledge gained during 24 years in immigration law enforcement pales in comparison to someone who has "done several visas". You win...

Why do a few people think it's o.k. to hijack a thread?
If you can't figure out how to start a new thread contact one of the mods I'm sure they'll be glad to help, or maybe you can just exchange phone numbers.

You might want to alert any trails or clubs this guy has fishes or has fished if he routinely bends rules

I didn't take the time to read all the comments, but I know BASS has had this rule in effect for years. But didn't I see on BASSMASTERS several years ago where David Fritts (I think it was) fell out of the boat trying to land a fish from the back deck and while lying down to get it, he rolled right off the deck into the water. And I don't think it said anything about him leaving the boat and being DQ'ed. Does anyone else remember that, or am I hallucinating?

I fished a working mans tourney one evening on lake ray hubbard. I got home and was looking at some info on a championship i had coming up, then i read the off limits period. I was in violation. Called the TD the next day, I was DQing my self. That was a tough one to swallow, because the championship was on lake ray hubbard and that being the only lake i know how to fish.

Haha.....wouldn't have been a problem for me. I too forgetful. I would have forgot the information anyways. I do get it though. I did the same thing last weekend. I caught a really good slot fish. And I had my phone and scale in my truck at the ramp. I was gonna drop out of the tourney. But, as luck would have it, I got into a HUGE school of bass at the boat ramp and quickly caught a culled a limit. Had five good ones. Plus a slot!!! I was gonna take pics and weigh it. And let it go. When I got loaded up, I remembered I had not only broken tourney rules. I broke the law. I quickly went and released all fish (unharmed) and didn't weigh in. Duh.

I would keep a eye on his buddies as well. You might want to alert any trails or clubs this guy has fishes or has fished if he routinely bends rules
