I am wanting to introduce my kids to fishing this year and was hoping to put them on schooling sandies. Question is when do they start on ray roberts? I think they will like it a lot better if the is immediate gratification. Thanks

Yep and just about everywhere. Best concentration of them seems to be around Cates point and ball camp but I caught them in 2 ft of water on nearly every cast for about 20 minutes at last light in sand branch last night.

Square Bills back in State Park Cove (IDB) behind the island. Nice size ones int he re too. Looks like topwater would work as well, you can also drop below them for spots.

There was some really big ones bunched up chasing shad along the tank dam in this cove last weekend. Caught them on square bills
