Hi guys, ima wanting to have a personal Fluke rod and reel setup combo....any personal ideas under $150 you prefer? Thanks for any info and tips provided.

rod is more important than reel for this technique. medium action rod for light wire hooks and mh rod for anything medium wire hook on up.

I used to use a 7 ft or 6 10 med heavy. Now I use a 6'5" medium. For casting Fukes or weightless Sencos or swimbaits I like a dual cast control reel, like a BPS carbonlite. Seems to work good for me.
