Hey there, new to Fly Fishing, not new to the forum. Picked up a combo at Cabelas the other day and decided to give it a shot down on Salado Creek using a little yellow Bett's popper. Caught a few spotted bass, a few largemouth and more than a few sunfish. It was a good day of fishing, this may be my new favorite way to fish!

It's the most fun and frustrating way to catch fish, and now you're about to spend lots of time and money because you're hooked. roflmao

I'm already hooked! Every day I'm thinking about new waters to fish, I've hit the Lampasas below Stillhouse, Nolan Creek, and Salado Creek so far, I see a few good posts from the Brazos below Possum Kingdom.

Now you need to learn how to tie those little buggers...

Fly tier (yeah, I can fly fish...but the fish don't like frothy water!)
