Maybe its just me, but are any of you having troubles landing fish in the evenings? I have fished a lot of waters over the past week and a half and have been just plain skunked in the evening time frame. I have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at my targeted fish (IE: Bass, sandies Crappie) Plastics, Jigs, Spinners of all shapes sizes and colors. Slow, Fast, Medium pace with nothing but BLAH. Suggestions welcomed hehe.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I might get a few early but as the sun starts to set it just shut down. I actually checked the Solunar Tables this morning and saw peak times were mid-morning and late night. Oh well, it won't stop my from trying again this evening, LOL!!! Barometric pressure has been very unstable as well though.

Well I cheated tonight. I put away the fly rod and went chased bass with the spinning gear. I fished with a 7" watermelon red utail worm in a couple overpopulated ponds. I caught about 30 stunted bass. Good thing was that I did catch a couple decent 2 lb. bass right at dark. Catching 9 inch green sunfish on my fly rod is much more fun.

Very nice J-Moe. Well got the monkey off my back. Managed some fish this evening. Two LMB off Texas Rigged Motor Oil worms. Then a few sandies off a smaller willow blade spinner bait.
