ever have one of those nights when you get started painting and instantly realize tonight was not the night. tried my hand at the big swim bait tonight. gonna have to make some new equipment to hold these things securely. foiled it first with silver leaf realmad haven't done any foiling in a while and never anything this big. imho is was a disaster. thankfully the d2t helps cover a lot of the mess. i think i'm going to source a different foil before i attempt another one. or not do the foil at all.

BC...the foil looks great...really and the colors have me thinkin' gizzard shad...liking that tint of turquoise behind the gill plate thumb.

this is one of those rare instances where the photo may look better than the actual bait but thanks. i epoxied the other side this morning and baked it for an hour. it looks ok but not sellable. hopefully the bass won't be as critical.
