Slot lake for bass, can keep under 14" or above 21", so the bass is legal.
Stray crappie took a worm, enjoyed that.
Biggest bluegill pulled like a bass, thought it was a bass until I finally saw it.

Thanks Banker. Probably fry up some tomorrow. Spouse likes'em best fried whole. I kept some that were medium size because they are easier to scale and cook whole. Filleted the big boys. Looks like baking in lemon butter will have to wait.

Thanks for the reply crope1. For bluegills, I have found that a live worm on a bottom rig will always get me more than enough for a good meal for several people if I move around looking for them. Good luck.

By the way, that large butcher knife in the pic is not my fillet knife. I had it to cut the heads off, but never used it even for that. A small, flexible fillet knife does a good job on gills for me.

Great fish, that second bluegill from the right has an ear flap as long as a redbreast. The bluegill look nice and fat but the crappie and bass look a bit thin. I wonder why?

All you needed was a catfish and you would have recorded a slam roflmao

The second from the right was the one so strong I thought i had caught a bass until I saw it. It has the vertical markings of a bluegill, so I assume that is what it was, although it has a huge gill flap. Could be a bluegill crossed with something like a longear I guess. Maybe someone that knows will ID it???
