Who around DFW does the best rod/eye repair on rods? Micro guides that is.

In all honesty most rod repairs can be done at home for a fraction of the cost. I've re-wrapped dozens of guides for a fraction of the cost of sending them out. A trip to mudhole.com and you can wrap them yourself and get the color you want.

Anyone know what a set of recoil guides would cost?

Get on mud hole tackle and look! I think they are around $10 a guide. Cheers.

That's a big +1. I bought all the stuff to fix my own guides from Mudhole a while back and enjoying fixing my own rods at a fraction of the cost. Easy to do with the right equipment.
