Due to high water levels on the Brazos River, the May 21st tournament has been moved to Lake Limestone and will go out of Running Branch Camp & Marina. Fishing will start at 6am and stop at 3pm. Must be in line with your fish no later than 4pm. Friday the 20th at 6:30 pm we will have a fish fry, meeting, and registration outside cabin 6 at Running Branch. CTCT members eat free. Anyone that is not a member may come eat as well for $6. Fried catfish will be provided as well as sides, bring your own drinks and be ready to have a good time. All funds raised benefit CTCT. If you plan to attend the meeting and eat please let us know so we can have an idea of how many people to cook for.

We are looking forward to seeing all our current members at this one as well as some new teams from the Lake Limestone area.

Hi I'm Ryan and my dad has some land in Buffalo texas and my dad and I and a freind were going to try this tournament because limestone is not to far from there. How much would it be to enter all 3 of us? What are the fees we have to pay? How do we enter it and how much would it cost?

Entry fees for a 2 man team is $100. You may add a 3rd man for an additional $25. All team members must be members of CTCT. There is a once a year membership fee of $25. Kids under 16 fish free.

Total entry for the first tournament would be $200 for a 3 man team.

We have a captins meeting, registration, and fish fry Friday evening at 6:30 pm at Running Branch Camp & Marina. Attendance at the meeting is not required but is encouraged, espiceally for teams that have not previously fished with us.

If you have anymore questions please give me a call at 254-541-8412 and I can answer them for you. We look forward to meeting you guys this weekend.

ok so what if we are not members of the ctct? Are we not allowed to fish it if were not? We just want to fish this tournament because its not to far from us and it would be our first catfish tournament.

Yesterday we had 36 anglers on 15 teams competing on Lake Limestone. 1st place went to the team of Roy Ewing, Jason Cummings, & Garth Goodwin. These guys brought in 5 fish for a total weight of 45.04 lbs earning them $1080. Roy, Jason, and Garth also won big fish with a 31.30 lb flathead catfish earning them an additional $229. Because these guys were running a Yamaha outboard in this tournament there winnings will be matched from Marineland Boating Center. 2nd place went to Wilcox & Tucker with 35.84 lbs earning them $324. 3rd place went to Carlock & Carlock with 23.70 lbs earning them $144. Mike Wilcox was the winner of our drawing for the Betts 7' castnet.

Id like to thank everyone that came out this weekend as well as give a huge thank you to everyone that helped out with the fish fry Friday evening. Next tournament is scheduled for Lake Brazos on October 15th.
