Not how you all going to fish, but if you have a kayak, go in a Nails Creek on the upper end of the lake, pool level is still beyond
7'. Some water isbeing sent down stream, but its slow. Remember from last year after bigs rains alot of fish are scattered.
If hit the upper creeks, brush areas, but alot of that is under water to its hard to determine its location. Fayette Power plant lake at LaGrange is close due to rains. Somerville should be good, water is warming now. I dont have electrics on my kayak, to find some holes.

gud luck.... sw...

The water is 7.5 over pool right now. Overlook and nails are open for launch.
Waht are you targeting? Catfish can be caught anywhere shallow. I am not sure on crappie and bass but I would try the creeks like said and see if you can catch any there. Usually good after a rain if the creeks are full and not flowing hard. If the current is fast then the bite will be slow. Try the bends in the creeks.

When today and the bite was slow to say the best. No Crappie just bass and perch. The lake was getting crazy by 1pm with wake boarders and jet skies. Also, with the other ramps closed getting off the water took 30 minutes and was a total different mess. barf
