Looking for a guide or two for Lake Whitney on the 25th of May. I have a group of 8 or 9 managers that want to fish for 1/2 day on the 25th.

I hired Ron Gardner about 15 years ago to teach me about Texas smallmouths. He has like 7 of the top 10 SMB in Texas on his resume. He was taking only a few trips back then, but it might be a starting point. Dunno. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I certainly don't mean to rain on your parade but with the lake still 13' high it will not be open by the 25th. Before they open any parks or ramps they will let the roads and ramps dry out for 3 weeks after they are exposed. Also there isn't a single bass guide on Whitney. As for Ron Gardner he is certainly a heck of a smallmouth guy but Rons not around here anymore and neither are the smallmouth.

Call any of the striper guides around Whitney. They are still fishing and still smoking them
