A group of us are looking to make the canoe trip as a father/son weekend...how's the bass fishing along this stretch of the river?

I've fished below Whitney plenty but its been years since I've been below PK.

Don't know if you're taking the 10 mile or 20 mile trip but the water should be flowing good... Bass fishing is normally pretty good out there too! Been a few years since I've been, but the fishing was always good.

Not sure of the distance...from Hwy 16 to Rochelle's...I remember in years past the fishing was always pretty good but it seems the last time we went was during the algae bloom and we literally caught nothing in 3 days of fishing.
