I build mine from Barlows tackle shop. You can get 20 buzzbaits for less than 20 bucks. I don't use skirts like all the ones have that you would buy, I put a 3.8 keitech or fluke as the trailer. You can also sand down the blades contact point to the rivet to get it squeaking right from the get go. Try it!

I like to throw 'em where you shouldn't get them back. So my fav is the D&M Buzzsaw. The free swinging EWG hook lets me rig the trailer of my choice totally weedless.

Strike King Swinging Sugar Buzz

I have a couple of favorites but this one is by far the best. It's remodeled after the old Vision Lures buzzbait (Strike King bought them out). Everyone knows those buzzbaits are king; I"m down to only 5, so I save them for tournaments only. With all of that said, Strike King did a fantastic job at keeping the exact same concept. You can do so many different things with this particular buzzbait! You can make it clack or you can make it just squeak, it comes through grass and pads easier than any other buzzbait on the market. The swinging hook is the best design for keeping fish pinned up. It's just a great buzzbait and it has proven itself time and time again. Also, no other buzzbait on the market "planes" as fast as this buzzbait.

Pepper Commando Buzzbait

One of my favorite buzzbaits for fishing open water or sparse cover is the Commando Buzzbait. You can put a single hook on there or you can put a treble hook on there and increase your hook up ratio. I like the sound of this buzzbait, as the "spitting" sound is truly unique on this particular bait. If you decide to put an EWG hook on the back, be sure to add a little trailer for added action!
