I figure asking this question is a lot like asking who your favorite boat manufacturer is. But if nothing else, maybe I'll get some "what not to use" input.

I've been using the "Wax As You Dry" from American Eagle Marine. It works well but can be very difficult to find consistently. My boat is mostly white with a black hull. I typically do not wipe my boat down until I get home from the lake. Just a lot easier to do it once (road grime on the drive home) and in my driveway where I have better access.

I do prefer a good value and easy to locate.

Thoughts?

Bass Boat Saver works good for me. I do the same, wipe everything down once I get home.

If you have any stains on the white glass, use Davis FSR (fiberglass stain remover). Best and easiest stain remover I've ever used. For wax I use Zymol Marina. For everyday cleaning and wipe downs, Bass Boat Saver, hands down.

Not to hijack the thread, but Has anyone else noticed what looks like a spotty buildup on the BassBoat Saver? I like it, but on my engine cowling I seem to get a spotty residue, even though I wipe it down twice. Only way I seem to be able to get rid of it is to scrub with a bug sponge and soapy water. I notice it some on the cap as well. I usually wax it a couple times a year and it takes it away.

Fouz, can you clarify for this old dummy please. To remove the 'brown water stains' on my white hull - use this product and not the Bass Boat Saver ? Sounds like the BBS is just for water marks, etc. and not the stain that has built up and I failed to get off.
Thanks in advance,

As soon as I get the boat out of the water, I wipe it down
with vinegar/water mixture, it takes all the water spots off.

When I wash the boat down at the car wash, I wipe on "Wax as you Dry".

This is the best product I've used and it leaves no residue behind. Can purchase at any auto parts store. Has kept both my ski boat (14 years old) and bass boat (8 years old) immaculate. It's great on all surfaces, including seats and electronics.

I have had good luck with the lucas slick mist. I do a pretty good detail at the first of the year and use the slick mist every time i get home.

BBS is more for everyday use, wiping down your boat, removing light stains from a day or two of use. Davis FSR is for heavier staining, like the red/orange or brown stains many lakes leave on our hulls. If you don't wipe those stains off immediately, they get worse and worse, until your nice white boat is very hard to clean. Davis FSR is for these heavier stains, wipe it on, rinse it off. You may have to use a wet rag with FSR to remove really deep or old stains.
