Im looking for rod holders that can be taken on and off, but they need to go on a pontoon boat. Pontoon boats have the square type hand rails along the side, so that's why its hard to find any. Anyone know of some?

Check out Bee Ready rod holders. I have used them for several years and been very pleased with them. They have several different mounting methods to choose from so you should be able to find one for the pontoon.

How wide are the rails?
Personally I won't use anything but a Folbe.
Bit more money but the rod comes straight up out of the holder, allowing you to set the hook as you remove the rod.

Click below. There are several mounts that would work. Driftmasters
