Hey guys, kinda new to the forum. Wanted to ask a question about Bardwell. I took a drive there Sunday, just to get a look at the lake and the parks. I went to all the parks and only saw 3 boats on the whole lake. The Texas state Web site shows the white bass as excellent and hybrids/stripes as good. The lake was high but still basically no one on there has me wondering if if that report is accurate. Is there anyone familiar with it? I live about a 1/2 hour from there and thought about giving it a shot. Any info, locations and tactics would be greatly appreciated. God bless

I'm new also. This is actually my first post lol. But yes the white bass fishing can be really good especially in the mornings and evenings. Just watch for surfacing fish in front of the dam and on the point near the corps office. Most fish are closer to the 10" mark with fish over 13" being pretty rare. Good luck!

Yes, sand bass and hybrids are there from love park and south to the dam. Fishing is always good for us when we are there just about every weekend. Also can't forget about largemouth along the banks right now and catfish in the channels that run the lake.
Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway
