How many days of practice do these guys get the week of a tournament? The way they move on from one event to the next I can't see it being more than a day or two. Grueling schedule for sure.

2 day - daylight to dark
1 day - until the afternoon in order to have the pre-tournament meeting

So they get a full day Monday and Tuesday and then 1/2 day or so Wednesday? Tournaments are four days and start on Thursdays. How do they even get to the next destination by Monday morning if they fish on Sunday of previous event? Drive all night?

only 12 make the final day cut so all but 50 leave friday night, 38 of those are on the road saturday night wishing they had that quick turnaround problem to deal with.

I've read in several of their blogs or FB posts that if they make Sunday, they usually lose one day of practice when they are back to back.

That's exactly how it works.

Some guys have other boats waiting for them to pre fish in. They fly to the next lake and have another person bring their boats to them a day later.

Most of the elite tournaments are 2 weeks apart. This week was different obviously

Two weeks and 550 miles between Wheeler and Toledo.

Wheeler and Bull shoals were back to back and 385 miles apart.

Some of the West Coast + Arizona guys fly home between tournaments and have their rigs driven to the next location. Duckett flys to the tournaments. It is only a guess but I would think that it is less than 15 anglers. For the back to back tournaments the drives really only impact the Top 12 that fished on Sunday. The big drive last year was the CA Delta to Havasu.
