I'll be camping out at Ray Roberts this weekend and I'm taking he yaks with me. Anyone know of some good places to hit up? I don't care if it's for Bass, crappie or sandies I just want to catch some fish with the kids.

Johnson Branch park. Fishing all around the point and on the points should be decent for sandbass and LMB right about now. The Channels will be in the flooded timber &grass very soon once the carp n gar move out.

Wind direction and speed will probably dictate where you fish. I like this website to get an idea about the wind.

Hook-N-Line map. I bought it at Cabela's (I think) a few years ago. Very easy to read with a ton of info and GPS waypoints. Bill Wilcox was one of the people who helped put it together.
