When our punch bait starts to melt, we add a egg, some cows blood, and some sour maize. Then we use a 2/0 circle hook with a natural sponge. Basically we turn it into a dip bait. Works great.

Hey post a picture of your goodies there sometime when you have some made up! i could try something different on my case,
have a stock pond that cats wont bite! cut perch, shrimp, worms. About a acre impoundment with some weeds as cover, some afternoon shade. Pond has a natural spring, someone suggested we try some some sticking cheese bait, but havent made any of late......

number 4treble hook no weight over the side of boat straight down Do you let it sit on the bottom, or do you crank a turn or two off the bottom? one turn off bottom

I prefer Stubby bait over punch bait in almost every condition. Now I admit that most baits work well when the catfish are very active. If a catfish is near you will get him with Stubbys.

Thanks guys for liking the bait I thank all of my bait user everyday. I love to see people catch fish and show pics.
.I wish I could show some fish but my health has keep me down and out for quit a while ,thanks for all thevents prayers.I neended all of them.

They have caught fish in both lakes in deep water.as deep as 60 feet to deep for me.ha I pm u back.

Get well soon Stub. Those cats are partying and having a good time since you've been laid up. When you get back they are going to pay. I'm back in Minnesota for the summer and they are laughing about that too.
Get some Stubbys bait and wipe the stupid grins off their faces.
