Creek fishing has been "ON FIRE" the past several weeks. Since the Guadalupe River Current is running strong with the Canyon Lake runoff I have been fishing the creeks a lot more. Fished a couple of creeks this past Thursday and Friday and caught good quality sunfish, bass, and Channel Cats. The bite was continual from 10am till 3pm. Left them biting. Fish were caught on worms using both float and bottom techniques. The creeks are in great shape with good current. Fish were caught in 2 to 4 feet of water holding by brush piles and rocky bottoms. All fish were released to fight again. Good HOT creek action. It just don't get any better. fish

Nice job Chuck!! I bet with all the recent rains the creeks are flowing great right now. It has been forever since I have casted a line in our local creeks. Hopefully that will change soon!

Yeah I need to dust off my fly rods and put them to good use again! I haven't been down to Cibolo Creek in so long I probably won't even recognize it! We are having a get together real soon at Crane's Mill on Canyon Lake. Not sure if the dates and location are set in stone yet, but your more than welcome to attend. Should be some good food and nice bank fishing on the lake (no cost).

Thanks Chuck for the info. Creeks will be a muddy mess after all of this rain.

Side Note: Looks like more rain next week. When would the creek fishing get back to normal again?

Nice fish and creek report Chuck. Looks like the creek fishing will be slowing down. To much RAIN! We will be getting another 2 to 4 inches later this week. Checked out the Cibolo and the current is super fast.
