Best place to mount lss2 and the transom mount skimmer on a skeeter zx 180 2000 model?

Can they be mounted in the middle of the inside of the jackplate at the bottom on the transom?

I have a TZX 190 and Mine is mounted forward of the motor on the ledge that is above the drain plug and Livewell fill ports. It seems to work great.
