Several people have called and wanted to know when Eagle Mountain would reopen. It
opened at 9: A:M today 04/29/2016. Very muddy. So far we have not got any rain from the current
storms. Got fingers crossed. We need to clear so we might fish a little this spring

I was in one of the coves on the east side this afternoon. Very muddy. About 70 degree water temp. I was fishing in mostly less than 10 feet of water. I didn't get any bites on anything I threw. Spinnerbaits, chatterbait, rattle trap, popper, Texas rigged worms, crankbaits...

I went way up Indian Creek to find some good water. Got two large mouths on a Roostertail. Didn't see many shad.

We got another inch last night and this morning. So I don't know when
it will clear.
