Here is how it has been going for me on Lake Fork the last week. I am starting to see a bunch of fry guarders and just a few left up on beds so I have been starting out my mornings with a Ribbit Frog in (Black or White.) I am still using the weightless fluke with a #3 rigging hook (watermelon gold) and a drop shot in the same color with a #1 rigging hook and a 3/16 oz weight. I set the drop shot up about 14''. I am using these baits around the fry guarders but when I find one that is still locked on bed I am throwing the Pit Boss set up like a T-Rig with 1/4 oz weight and a #3 rigging hook.

When all this does not work I have been going out deep and have been catching a few on the A-Rig and Storm Swimbait out in 24' of water. I am also catching a lot of sand bass out deep right now. So if you are looking to go out for some food or would like to bring the kids out to reel in a lot of fish now is a great time.

Hope this helps y'all coming to the lake this weekend!

E

Don't let that rain stop you from coming out to Lake Fork! I'm catching these fish good right now on a square bill 1.5 (Tennessee Shad) look for birds around windy secondary points and locate the shad spawn. I'm also throwing a drop shot 4'' worm (watermelon gold) (Tomato) when the wind lays down. I am still catching around 15-25 fish a day and sometimes we will go out and catch a limit of sandies as well.

Here' a 10 from today and a few from the last week. Hope this info can help y'all catch a few fish.
