Thinking about putting led deck lights on the boat. Just curious as to what a good color is to use and or color to stay away from. Thanks for the suggestions

Depends on why you are putting them on?
I have red ones on my deck and they look good but give off next to no usable light.
If I had it to do over I would go with white on the deck.

I have white LEDs strips on my deck that I did myself. Honestly I think they are too bright, especially if it is pitch black dark (no moon or stars). I can see everything I need to do but I really need to cut the voltage down to decrease the intensity. For seeing stuff white is best but like I said it may need to be toned down to not be blinding.

I have the bluewater extremes in red. White usually attracts bugs. Hook them up to a dimmer switch so you can adjust light.

Don't have any in my boat yet, but plan to do them soon. From what I've seen with other boats, I would go with white for your boxes, then red or blue for the deck. I think blue will give a bit more visibility on deck than the red.

Red and green don't mess up your night vision as much as white... being able to see what you are working on in the boat is great until it impairs you seeing whats going on out on the water...

The red individual lights look clean on the install, and look great at night. I used the 1 watt so they aren't blinding. Got mine from Josh Mulkey off of here

I have blue deck lights. BIG MISTAKE. they are blindingly bright. So bad that they are useless. Looks cool in a "party cove" kinda way. Lol. Wasted time, money, and effort for a bass boat. I have turned them on exactly 3 times since last year. I fish the boat 3-4 times a week.
They are goofy, useles, and stupid. NEVER AGAIN.
next time, I will simply install a few extra regular old bulb lights somewhere where I can tie lures and find baits at night. It's all that is needed. The LED caca is too bright and the color temp is too cool to be useful. It takes too long for your eyes to readjust after turning them off.
Also....for some reason, I feel like a rookie "squid" when I turn them on....looks gay.

Looks like the red lighting you chose (IMO) is a good one. Not too bright and/or blinding. Good choice, again IMO God Bless The red individual lights look clean on the install, and look great at night. I used the 1 watt so they aren't blinding. Got mine from Josh Mulkey off of here
