For a month now I've planned on fishing Bob Sandlin for a few days next week. I've only been there once before and have no idea how much water it can take. Does anybody know if it's safe after all this rain? Will they close the ramps? Regardless I'm staying on the lake, but the thought of hauling the boat back toward Dallas to fish is well......kinda stupid.

Its only 10 inches above full pool right now, I wouldn't think there's any risk of ramps closing but hopefully someone that lives over there can chime in and give you more info.

We fished a tourney last weekend and the lake was full, they started letting water out Friday afternoon and dropped the lake a good six inches by Saturday morn and my areas shutdown. It was muddy all over. I'm sure with the rain Friday it came up again and they maybe dropping it again. With the weather that's been going on its hit and miss mostly. The top weight winner was 17.6# 10 place was 8ish.
