Stillwaters club out of Abilene fished it Saturday. Water was a weird mix of stained and clear, almost a dark tannin look vs. the traditional mud of a post-flood. 36 fishermen, 10 lbs on 3 fish won with a 5.7 or so big bass. I had fourth with 6.48 total. Alot of small fish caught, but not much on size. Mine were mostly on topwater early, but there were also some fish caught on plastics and square bills in the weeds.

I know some of those guys, and their are some sticks, that lake is fishing tough if that crew only weighed in 10 on 3 to win...

+1 to Luke. Dam area accounted for the 1st place and 4th place sacks. Shad spawn was on up there.

Before this current flooding there was several bass being caught at least the mouth of the creek on the south side of the island.

I was crappie fishing and watched a few boats do fairly decent. No monsters but decent fish none the less.
