Will it be off color and would I need reservations to fish tomorrow? Haven't been there since it reopened.

Thanks

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Most of the lake looks like it did all year. I am not sure how the two bigger creeks look on upper end. You should always go ahead and do the reservation. It just make it much easier on Teresa to log you in. Took 24 lbs to win media tournament last week. Only gotten clearer since then.

river is muddy. We had our worst day ever out there on Sunday. Won't go back until October.

What were the water temps like? I thought I heard somewhere that they were having to refuel a reactor either this month or next month and that the temps should stay lower than normal for this time of year. Any truth to that or are temps already up there?

I fished Squaw last Friday. Upper 1/3 of lake was real dirty and creeks(Lollar, Squaw...)were chocolate milk. Temps were mid 70's in the back of these creeks from run off. Around 80 in the rest of the upper lake. The plant is still running.

^^this is good info but I'm wondering how much or little it will affect the temps? Will it truly let us get another decent month of fishing out of it or should I just forget about it and head to another lake?
Also, doesn't Squaw typically clear up pretty fast as long as the rain stops now while we are ahead?

I fished it last Friday, like others have said, water stained/muddy on the upper end. We caught 16 total with big fish of about 5 pounds. Caught 3 early on top water's, went dragging on some deeper stuff with no success, came back to the banks flipping and picked up 1. We headed towards the upper end and caught 12 on spinner bait's slow rolling them in about 10-14 feet of water. Had to be off by noon unfortunately.

Just trying to remember to turn my lights off backing down the ramp!
