Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

Results from Apr 28:

It's pretty darn bad when the guides are complaining of 2 and 3 fish days with their customers. Discouraging to say the least.
Once again we had light winds out of the east and usually east is least. Plus the SRA had a gate open. Everything to make the day a failure. But most of those fishing did catch a least one fish and some had a bunch.

1st place went to Bob Roberts with a 8 keeper fish at 14.58 pounds anchored by a 4.54 lunker..
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Curt Blount with 3 fish for 12.40 with a 5.57 lunker .
3rd place went to Kenny Moser with 9 fish for 10.90 pounds and a 3.32 lunker.
4th place went to Ray Carter with 3 fish for 10.63 and THE 6.77 lunker
5th place went to Jack White with 4 fish for 9.57 with a 3.98 lunker.
6th place went to Matt Scotch with 2 fish for 6.95 with a 4.07 lunker..

We paid 6 places and had 34 anglers fishing and caught 65 fish again.

How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

Today Curt Blount set a new club bag record for 2016 with 12.4 pounds
Ray Carter set a new lunker reoord for 2016 with 6.77 Lb
Howard King set a all time club lunker and bag with 4.73 Lb
Matt Scotch set a all time and club with a 4.07 lunker and 6.95 bag

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a few boaters who will also fill in as co-anglers if needed and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them.
