I have tried several trailer repair sites and auto collision repair shops but have not found anybody that will paint a tandem axle boat trailer. Any suggestions on anybody in a 25 mile radius of Plano/Frisco area that can repaint a trailer? I plan to put the textured Rhino Coat paint on.

Is it a ez-loader?, If so I would have it structurally checked out first, repainting/bed liner is a waste of money on one thats rusting out, and could hide potentially dangerous structural issues.

After looking at my boat trailer after two years of fishing Possum Kingdom, I would be interested in undercoat or something. Despite the "Galvashield" marketing ply, everything is rusting on my trailer.

Another sourse for Marine coatings is SuperMarine.com. I am currently painting a trolling motor with their products. You can go to the boats and motors section here on the forum and see marine coatings test. I would suggest sand blast, etch the metal, prime with SM 7390 Epoxy then top coat with your choice. Classic Fiberglass offers sandblast and paint for your trailer call them they will help ya out.

Looks like I will have to, Classic Fiberglass didn't bother responding. Not a good sign. The powder coating places don't do trailers because they won't fit in their ovens. Auto body repair shops I contacted don't do trailers.

Check with any local marinas or yard that do bottom jobs on big boats. They will have the blasting and spray painting equipment.

skeeterfan if you end up DIY shoot me a PM. I have enough Etch,SM 664 D,7390, and SM 1000 to do a test spot if you are interested. I have compressor and spray equiptment you get to spray too. SM 1000 is black comes in lots of colors.

TY I may take you up on that for some advice. I have a compressor and I just inherited a new auto spray attachment that may work with the compressor. It would take some practice before I would trust myself to tackle my trailer.
