Fished Canyon Lake today, was pretty good. Caught a total of 12 bass today. 2 of which came off before they were boated. Most of the bites came off of flats and points, in submerged cover in 6 to 10 feet of water. Most were caught on soft plastic txrigged grande bass rattle snakes. A couple of a white and chartreuse spinner bait. All in all, good fishing. The bass weight ranged from 1 to 3 lbs. First time on this lake, and I have to say I had a good time!
