I have both mt2 and Mt and I can't tell any difference in quality, but longevity is questionable on both. I fish 50 Plus times a year and I ha e beat these up. The bearings are not smooth anymore, but they still cast great. Prolly the best castng reels on the market. For sure at the price point.
