out of the three lakes: Sandlin, Cypress Springs, and Monticello, which one is best right now for numbers? I'm taking my father-in-law fishing next week so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Based on two trips in the last 3 weeks I would do Sandlin....flip/pitch creature baits (natural colors) to the gator grass. Peg your weights for best penetration. You'll catch plenty of 1-2lb fish and the occasional 3-?.
