Anybody been fishing lake Bonham?

Haven't been in a Lil while but going out this evening to fish Thursday night tournament.The last time I was out there the gar and grass carp were every where thousands of them and the fishing was slow. The lake is in good shape lots of grass.

I was there this past Saturday. Fishing was very slow. Water was cloudy, but not muddy. Water temps from 68 to 76. Water level is a little above full pool, so lots of shallow cover. Still lots of gar in the shallows. Managed to catch 6, but nothing bigger than ~2.5 pounds.

Yeah that's what I was curious about was other fish in the shallows, thanks guys, looks like secondary points it is

It's and open we take off @ 5:30 and fish till 8:30 $30.00 a boat lake off limits day before and day of. Austin P I will send you a PM tomarrow to give u the down low . Are u fishing the Texoma Bass Club sat?

ZX250 can't catch fish out there anyways.

I don't know about ZX250 but I know Austin can, I "seened it" with my own 2 eyes!

Most of the time he catches the big fish also. Seen that happen many of times too.
