Going to sargent for the first time ever. I need to know the closest cut to enter bay . I have a tunnel hull kenner. I can float in a foot of water but I'm not comfortable traveling in that shallow of water . Two foot or more is ok . Whats the closest best cut for me ???

If you leave south out of Sargent in the intercoastal, in less than a mile there will be cuts into east bay. The cuts should be 2 to 4 feet deep and stay that deep through that entire end of the bay, except for shell reefs. Farther down the intercoastal about 4 miles will be Old Gulf Cut. The water there is plenty deep.
