Ordered a bunch of Mepps lures. Aglias, spoons and Comets. The Aglias and spoons were okay, but the hooks on the Comets were HUGE. Don't know the size but the hooks were bigger then the actual lure. And this is made for trout and sunnies? No way they'd be able to take the hook. Back when I was a kid you could swap out hooks on Comets but I didn't see how to now. I tossed them. Lesson learned I guess.

I would have called or emailed the lure company and let them know. eeks Could have been the wrong size of hook were put on the lures in the factory by mistake. hmmm I know ordering baits on line is very convenient but when an order arrives that is not right you got the hassle to go through on getting it corrected. taz That is why I like to shop at tackle shops to buy by stuff. dance2 It is also a great way to spend some time. coolio Just my two cents. 2cents
