Had to get some pre-cancer spots burnt and cut off my nose and upper lip the other day. Just before the doc grabbed my upper lip and stuck a needle in it he says, "Do you know where one of the most sensitive parts of the body is?" I do now!
Guys, just a reminder....cover up while fishing and use sun block. I never did as a young man and now I'm paying for it (with the skin off my nose and the dollars out of hip pocket.) Don't forget the young uns in the boat....smear them with sun block. Dang, my nose is tender.. roflmao

I can say, it's tougher down in that one spot then you think, I know first hand. I take 3-4 needles a week down there. 1/2" 30 guage needles. Gotta do what you gotta do once you have had a bout with cancer!

I have a few spots on my ears that need to be looked at!

I bought a gator and it's really not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. Also got those light weight fishing gloves. I just have to start fishing a little smarter.

Well, it turned out to be spot of cancer so I had to have a little minor surgery done. Now I'm sitting here with a fat lip and stitches. You guys like me that are getting a little long in the tooth and have worked outside all your life be mindful of the sun and take precautions. I know I'll start paying a little more attention. I like fishing under bridges anyway.

Take care of yourself, and thanks for the warning.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Good advice. I found out the hard way but, the cancer was on my ear.
Bottom line, now I have 'half of an ear left' and cancer seems to be gone.
Covered obvious areas of exposure for years but, never gave thought to my dang ears.
I do NOW !!
Sun block and cover up if your out any length of time....you do not want to go through any of this carp !!
God Bless
