I have a 1987 Mercury 175hp Black Max. I need to get the #4 hole bored and sleeved. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good machine shop?

Must be too busy. Called guy in Dallas that does mine and he is 2 months behind and he recommended Colabella Performance in Saint Cloud FL.

since it looks like ya gotta ship it anyway might try Chris Carson Marine in Key Largo also... excellent machine work... ask for Chris.. seasons don't mater much down there!

Had my 100hp merc done 4 years ago by a guy out by lavon. If i can find the paperwork, I will pass on the name. Did the pre-buy inspection on my "new" boat and found scored cylinders, just had him do the job. Fwiw, no problems and Lake Park Marine mechanic said they did a sweet job.
