I don't know why I always go out and pay for these old things. Just picked up a old wizard 12 horse without a prop. Figured it had good compression and I'd throw it on one of my small boats. Anyways, tore into this thing last night, oiled up the cylinders since I don't know last time this thing ran. I pulled the flywheel to and this thing is super clean guys, no rust anywhere and still shiny! Put it all back together and connected my fuel line and boom, turned over.. My concern is I had fire balls comming from the exhaust ports!? The flywheel is "keyed" but in thinking timing is off a bit? What's yalls thoughts on my outboard from hell?
