Fished for a total of 2 hours and 26 minutes. Caught 3 keepers and 1 throwback. All on a BP in 18 ft. of water. Water is muddy and there is trash everywhere. This has definitely been a very awkward year and it appears to me that things are not getting any better for at least another couple weeks. I wish I had a better report but. I just have to tell it like it is.

Fished the Guadalupe this past Wednesday and it was poor. Strong current and muddy water along with a lot of debris. Heard water was being let out of Canyon Lake which is not going to help matters. Also there is more rain on the way.

look for eddies my friend, little current breaks where they can rest and ambush. many times when fishing bridge pilings, when the wind really kicks up and that water starts moving, they will get right behind the pilings to dodge the current.
look for deep holes, big boulders , hard bends, back sides of points.
they will hold real tight to cover when you find them. sometimes the fish wont even show on sonar they are so tight to the cover.
