I am going there from Houston so I think I will be mid lake. Where is a decent place to stay that has the ability to charge boat batteries at night and is not too far from a boat ramp? This trip I will lonely be staying one night and most of the lodges want a 2 night stay. So I am assuming that there are hotels close by or something.
Thanks

Hard to find any decent place that only does a one night stay this time of year. The hotel at Cypress Bend is really nice. Near a ramp, its safe and they have 2 sections of the parking lot that have a ton of electrical outlets. Its a little more high end than I expected but was only $100ish a night. Wife and I stayed there last week. Really enjoyed it. You also get a to order breakfast off of the restaurant menu included. They will let you just stay one night as well.

Check out Bridge Bay Resort (318) 256-6604 ask for Roy Joe tell him Brian Martin told you to call. It is right at the three mile bridge which is pretty much midlake. Nice cabins with exterior plugs for charging. They also have a boat ramp right there at their place. Nice set up.

Have stayed at Bridge Bay a few times. Good place. I was told later by them that they had a 2 night minimum stay as well.

Stayed at Bridge Bay this past weekend. We had six guys fishing together and shared a duplex cabin with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, full kitchen and living room in each side. The cabin was comfortable, especially if you like a very firm mattress. I'd stay there again, but I'd try to get a cabin closer to the water.

Depending on how far north you want to go, Tranquility Bay on Lanan Creek might be another option to explore.

Huxley Bay is up north but I'm not sure if there still open.

Huxley Bay is still open. I launched there several times this spring.
