Not knowing the condition of my home waters decided to go to Sulpher Creek again this morning. Started out with my 10' 3wt BVK , and finished with the 8' version after a reel season mishap. needless to say it will be on its way back to TFO shortly. Bunch of fair sized gills.

Then first fish after I switched to the 8' 3wt.
Guessing about 20" and roughly 5lbs or so.

Few more gills and another bass before I called it a day.

Heck ya, those are some nice bass. It's fun when they bottom out your 3wt. Since I've got mine it's hands down my favorite unless it's pretty windy.

Great pictures, especially of the long ear. They are incredibly beautiful right now. Great bass on the 3 weight as well thumb

That second to last picture looks a lot like what I knew as a Goggle-Eye , some called it a Rock Bass but looked like a Goggle-Eye to me .
