yes or no. If yes which one for motor and trolling motor. Reason for thinking of getting them is that Walmart's are everywhere if one goes bad.

Yes, and this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Group-Size-29-Marine-Battery/20531539

The MAXX group 29's can be difficult to find in stores... call around and be patient.

YES , Open 24 / 7 at most locations, and I have had good luck with them.

If it was easy, everyone would do it

Certainly better than Interstates, at about 1/2 the money.

I would rather buy Interstates. I seem to have good luck with them. But lost guy Walmart, I sure will work fine for most things.

Also, Wally Mart Cranking batts are only 850 ish amp. Merc 250 Pro XS spec to have 1000 amps as I recall, so I bought Interstate and were about the same price as I recall. My buddy buys the Walmart craking batts and he says it cranks is 250 merc just find and runs live wells and electronics etc.

Thanks, Billy

Go chase some hogs, smart arse. ....There's a valid point to not ruining a few days of fishing when the nearest (specialty brand) battery store is 100+ miles away from where you are fishing and the battery you need might not even be in stock - when a Walmart could be within 20 miles and open 24/7.

Just installed three new ones from Walmart. Come to find out one of my trolling mtr batteries was a Walmart battery that was purchased in 4/09. So I guess they do last awhile--at least for me.

I've used the 29 series for my TM for years. They work well, plus like said before easy replacement if one does go bad, Wal Mart stores are everywhere.
