I am planning on sneaking out and doing some bank fishing on Friday in between what looks to be a another very active weather day. I see on the TPWD website there are multiple locations on Ray Roberts that are state parks. How is the bank fishing? I obviously don't want anyone's honey hole, not that you can really have one at a state park. I will also be head up to Eisenhower State Park but as high as the lake is most of that park will be closed. I just picked up a State Park Pass and figured I would head to RR 1st before my annual fishing weekend on Texoma.
I really don't target anything in particular, normally I would just be using conventional gear. However I have just started to Fly Fish and I am wanting some practice. Currently I am attempting to NOT hook myself with my fly!
Any advice on RR would be awesome!
TIA guys and gals!
