Last trip the up down on the gauge would not work. This trip neither the gauge or trim control work. Gage just shows 2 lines. Any thoughts? Power issue?

I didn't respond before because I wasn't quite sure what all was wrong. Engine Trim and jackplate are separate systems that have nothing to do with one another. Are you saying you now have issues with both? Are the gauges not working (only) or are you saying you can no longer move the jackplate or engine trim?

The guage showing 2 lines usually the thing mounted to the plate that rises with your motor is out of adjustment its a plastc L with 2 screws holding it to plate.

Jack plate has a trim(up/down) control on right side of steering wheel.

I didn't realize that the position sensor/sender was adjustable. How is it adjusted?

Finally had the boat out this weekend and I think I see the sensor. On the top of the jackplate and it is all the way up. Where should it be set?
