Not a crappie fisherman and probably know most of crappie spawn is over.
Caught a few crappie while bass fishing and had a rig set up and put a jig under a cork and caught a few last wed. Taking my gf father out for few hrs in the morning and using minnows should i stay shallow less than 4' or go deeper thinking about goin back to same spot or should I hit the mouth of the cove seen a cpl fishing with shiners around us but they didn't catch anything on minnows.
Thanks for your responses and tips.

May your next crappie be your personal best!!!

Jeff

Still some spawning...I'd go back and check that area...maybe a few more have moved in. If it doesn't produce, move on.
